The Artist's Way: A Day of Autumn Creativity Have you enjoyed the Artist’s Way approach to creativity on a previous course at Evolution and want to plug back in? Or perhaps you have heard about Julia Cameron’s seminal book and would like a taste? This inspiring day is designed to help you recentre creativity in your life, based around autumn themes of transition and harvest, honouring the autumn equinox. We’ll explore ideas around doorways and thresholds, welcoming in a new cycle. We’ll kickstart the practice of morning pages and artist’s dates as a community, enabling synchronicity and a little taste of magic. You are invited to connect playfully with your creativity – it's an interactive day, drawing on activities involving craft, words, imagery and guided meditation. The focus is on process and enjoyment and for you to come away with a renewed commitment to your own creative practice. Hosted by current Evolution tutors Anna Hayward (Writers: An Artist’s Way) and Bella Cranmore (The Artist’s Way), who met whilst participants at an Evolution Artist’s Way course back in 2010 and whose friendship flows from a shared appreciation of the power of developing and sustaining creative practices for wellbeing. Anna Hayward can trace a direct line from inspiration through morning pages to becoming an award-winning novelist (Broken Madonna under the pen name Anna Lucia). She has long experience facilitating groups in the workplace and is a trained counsellor and mentor. She supports writers through mentoring, editing, courses and retreats. She is Chair of Trustees of New Writing South. www.annalucia.co.uk Bella Cranmore is an Integrative Therapist. Her training at Re-Vision explored a creative soul-based approach to living, drawing on myth, mark making and ritual. She has been an academic researcher, worked in digital marketing, and co-run a business helping young people through career coaching and practical experience. She has used The Artist’s Way to get unstuck, navigate new career paths, and introduce more adventure into daily life.
