Description of Class

Join us for a playful investigation of how myths, fairy tales and archetypes can be used as inspiration in your writing. We will look at some examples from contemporary literature, from Angela Carter to Margaret Atwood; Steven Sherrill to Kamila Shamsie. There will be a number of creative writing exercises throughout the day to inspire you and kick-start your own writing. There will be something for everyone! We aim to create a supportive and creative environment that is suitable for all levels – beginners and experienced writers welcome.
