Description of Class

The Artist's Way: A Spring Day of Creativity, Connection and Community Have you enjoyed the Artist’s Way approach to creativity on a previous course at Evolution and want to plug back in? Re-prioritise creativity in your life? Kickstart the practice of morning pages and artist’s dates? Feel part of a community which understands synchronicity? Or perhaps you have heard about Julia Cameron’s seminal book and would like a taste? This inspiring Spring day is hosted by current Evolution tutors Anna Hayward (Writers: An Artist’s Way) and Bella Cranmore (The Artist’s Way), who met whilst participants at an Evolution Artist’s Way course back in 2010 and whose friendship flows from a shared appreciation of the power of developing and sustaining creative practices for wellbeing. The day is an invitation to connect playfully with your creativity. It centres on activities around craft and words. The focus is on process and enjoyment and for you to come away with a renewed commitment to your own creative practice. Bios Anna Hayward can trace a direct line from inspiration through morning pages to becoming an award-winning novelist (Broken Madonna under the pen name Anna Lucia). She has long experience facilitating groups in the workplace and is a trained counsellor and mentor. She supports writers through mentoring, editing, courses and retreats. She is Chair of Trustees of New Writing South. www.annalucia.co.uk Bella Cranmore is an Integrative Therapist. Her training at Re-Vision explored a creative soul-based approach to living, drawing on myth, mark making and ritual. She has been an academic researcher, worked in digital marketing, and co-run a business helping young people through career coaching and practical experience. She has used The Artist’s Way to get unstuck, navigate new career paths, and introduce more adventure into daily life.
