Description of Class
Learn to texile weave on a simple wooden frame loom. Choose from a range of colourful yarns and enjoy the tactile and absorbing weaving experience. We will create a little woven table mat or decoration - perhaps as a Christmas gift. You will be guided to select colours and textures to design your own unique woven piece. Learn how to attach the warp to your frame and some simple weaving techniques. Become absorbed in the calming weaving process. No weaving experience required. If you have done some weaving before, you might wish to refresh your knowledge or try some different techniques. All materials and instructions will be provided. Frames will be available to buy if you wish to take one home. There will be a break for lunch.
