Description of Class

There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25, over 65, or in full time unemployment. • Would you like to put more spring in your step? • Feel like you are floating on air? • Glide up hills or simply get more enjoyment out of your rambles and hikes? In this walking workshop we will apply the principles of the Alexander Technique to find out where you can make the changes in yourself that will help your walking become easier, less effort and more comfortable. You will receive gentle hands-on guidance as we walk outdoors. As this is an outdoors event there is the chance it will be cancelled if the weather is bad. The tutor will contact you near the time to confirm arrangements. Your tutor Korina has enjoyed working as an Alexander Technique teacher for over 15 years.  As well as a busy private practice, working with all kinds of ages and clients, she is employed as an Alexander and movement teacher working with actors in various drama colleges and with the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra. She has an MA in Dance and Somatic Well-Being and also enjoys working as a somatic and creative movement facilitator. Testimonials 'I thoroughly enjoyed our session. I am actively repeating what I learned to myself and feel more confident so I enjoy my surroundings more.' anon 'What a lovely day  on Saturday!
