Make a Movie Using AI

Description of Class

There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25's, over 65's or in full time unemployment. Explore the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for making a short movie. Each week you will learn about a new tool for creating the different elements of a film. The teacher will demonstrate each tool and you will have time to practise that tool in class. The final film you make will have a duration of about 2 to 3 minutes. Later at home you will practise with that tool to create the elements that will make your movie. In other words, the course requires you to do a few hours of fun-work at home. This is important because you cannot do everything in class. You also need to commit to attending every week because each session develops what we learned the previous week. The teacher will be available outside of class time as a resource. Note: You need to be familiar with using a laptop or desktop computer, and also be willing to use your smartphone for recording audio and taking photographs.
