Internal Qigong Alchemy: Summer Solstice

There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25, over 65 or in full time unemployment. Internal Qigong Alchemy is an ancient Chinese holistic system developed for spiritual, mental, physical and medical benefits. Internal Qigong Alchemy is based on the ancient Chinese system of Internal Alchemy, Qigong and Medical Qigong. This workshop will focus on the Fire Element which relates to the summer. In Internal Qigong it relates to our heart centre – the house of our spirit and consciousness. Qigong postures, movements, sounds, and breath sequences will connect us with the universal life energy (Qi) which increases our vital energy, so invigorate and revitalise us. Medical Qigong practices will cleanse and heal our body and energy to benefit our physical and mental health. They not only alleviate issues but also improve our overall wellness. Internal Alchemy meditations and attunements will tune us into our innermost and transcendent reality, including our spiritual consciousness, wholeness and wellbeing. Also, to our Heart’s inner harmony, beauty, serenity, joy, and unity. In Chinese philosophy and medicine, tuning into your ‘heart spirit’ connects us to our Authentic Self, our true nature. This brings a sense of oneness with all existence and the Whole, often referred to as the Way (Dao). The workshop is suitable for all levels. Beginners are welcome. Please wear loose soft clothing. Your tutor Amadis trained with Qigong teachers for over twenty years. Since the mid-eighties he has studied Transformational and Medical Qigong, Internal Alchemy, Classical Chinese Medicine and language, all of which informs his teaching. He has taught Internal Qigong since the 1990s and practices acupuncture in a community clinic in Brighton.
