
Thai Yoga Massage Course

Description of Class
Thai Yoga massage is a mixture of massage, energy-line work & hatha yoga stretches. In this course you will learn a full body basic massage routine (lasting 30 minutes) in the discipline of Thai Yoga Massage. You will look at the history and benefits of energy-lines involved in this bodywork, and learn a routine that incorporates massaging the feet, legs, arms, hands, back, neck, head & face. This is a very practical course which offers plenty of practice and the opportunity to give & receive the massage. You will learn from demonstrations, experiencing the massage and practicing the routine with other students. You will learn a routine that is deeply relaxing & can be used to give friends & family a basic body work massage. Please wear loose comfortable clothing for the massage & class. Your tutor: Yasmin Valli has been practicing Thai Yoga massage since 2013. She also practices Indian head Massage, Reiki & Ear Acupuncture at The Anahata health clinic in Brighton. She has been teaching workshops/courses in massage routines for 6 years and has worked at East Sussex College, Varndean College and The Buddhist Centre as well as running private workshops at Anahata and working with private clients online. Yasmin has a background in working in the charity sector and has worked with a number of different client groups using person-centred approach. There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25's, over 65's or in full time unemployment.
