Shamanic Soundbath Ceremony: Imbolc, Feb

Description of Class

There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25, over 65 or in full time unemployment. Imbolc, or “in the belly”, celebrates the very first stirrings of nature in the deep sleep of winter. Intuition to what runs deep and subtle in us is valuable at this time. Join us for a ceremony of potential and new beginnings, as we approach the full moon. The ceremony will begin with an energy clearing and a meditation to help us arrive and relax. After invoking the qualities of the elements and the four directions, we will take a drum journey for insight and guidance. After a short, silent leg stretch, lie back and relax to the sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls and mantra. The ceremony will end with a period of silence to experience the effects of the practice. After the ceremony there will be the option to share experiences with others. This is entirely optional, and you can see whether this feels right for you at the time. Your tutor Stevie has trained in various modalities including contemporary shamanism and sound therapy.  He is a Buddhist, committed to the ongoing development of wisdom and compassion, and loves sharing this journey with others.
