About this course • Guided by Dinah, you will train your creative eye so you can accurately record what you see. • Over the course of 10 weeks you can build both your confidence and your skills, developing your style stage by stage. • Using a variety of techniques, mediums and materials, you will learn to be more experimental and observant in your work so that you can develop your drawing further once the course is ended.  Why choose this course? You will be taught how to really ‘see’ what you are looking at and how to record what you see on paper, alongside exercises that will encourage you to be more focussed and experimental. Suitable for complete beginners and if you have done some drawing before and would like to explore this medium more deeply and get guidance with your own projects. Materials Please bring an A3 Sketchbook, Pencils (HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 6B), a rubber, box of willow charcoal and a small box of oil or soft pastels. Your tutor Dinah Kelly has worked as an artist educator for several major museums, giving gallery talks on paintings and leading workshops in response to the collections. She teaches in a wide range of media with a strong emphasis on colour theory and acrylic painting.
