There will be some brief background on Indian Head massage, but giving and receiving massages is the main aim of the workshop. No experience required, simply come along with an open mind and a willingness to learn. What to wear:  Please wear loose comfy clothing.  If you have long hair, bring a hair band. Your tutor Yasmin has been practicing IHM since 2004. I also practice Reiki, Thai Yoga massage & ear acupuncture. She works at Anahata Health clinic and has been teaching workshops for 5 years. She's taught at Sussex Downs College & Varndean College & has completed private courses at Anahata. "I’ve a background in working for the charity sector & I’ve specialised working with client with mental health issues, domestic abuse issues & substance misuse issues. I have completed some counselling training so I have a very person-centred approach to working with clients. I’ve always been interested in natural/holistic approaches to health & being Indian I was brought up with these natural methods from childhood. At one time I had a period of ill health myself & found holistic massage & ear acupuncture a massive benefit to me in terms of getting better."
