Creative Writing Course

Description of Class

There is a concession available for this course for people: Under 25's, over 65's or in full time unemployment. Concession price will be £66 Please use code: CWC123-3 at check-out. “Getting word out of the beehive of the head and onto the reality of paper is a form of clarification.” In each of these afternoons sessions we’ll use the stimulus of listening to a short piece of writing - whether poetry or prose - to inspire us to write ourselves. Over the course, we will have an opportunity to build a momentum of our own creative writing practice through writing, editing and feedback. Suitable for beginners and those with a little writing experience wishing to refresh your practice. Your tutor Subhadassi has had a wide experience of running creative writing workshops over many years, and in a variety of locations - from the wilds of Northumberland to the centre of Tokyo. he is a buddhist, a poet, a father, a creative facilitator, a walker, a wild camper, a photographer…though of course there’s much more to it than that!
