Self-Editing for Writers

Tutor: Stephen Quinn
Location: Online via Zoom

Next date: Saturday 10 October, 10am - 1pm

One of the best definitions of writing says “writing is really re-writing”. This workshop shows you how to edit your own writing to become a better writer. It covers how the human mind works and how that applies to writing/editing; it describes the editor’s tools and the editing process; and how to find and maintain your voice. The course will happen via Zoom and will include plenty of practical exercises. Duration: 3 hours
