All welcome to this 90 minute session with experienced local mindfulness teachers Annie Akasati and Carolyn Drake. Join us in a friendly group for guided meditations, shared reflections and practical explorations of how we can cultivate a clear mind and wise heart at this time.
 

Annie Akasati McAuley

Annie Akasati McAuley has been practicing mindfulness for over three decades and has taught mindfulness and meditation since the late '90s in a variety of contexts including courses, retreats and schools. Annie has a background in Buddhist meditation and philosophy, but has enjoyed training more recently to pass on the ancient skills of mindfulness practice in a contemporary, secular context.

Dr Carolyn Drake

Dr. Carolyn Drake Carolyn has been teaching Mindfulness for five years, having trained with the Sussex Mindfulness Trust and the Mindfulness in Schools Project. She was formerly a Neuroscientist working on brain development. She has also run her own primary school. She now runs mindfulness courses for adults and children. She has been meditating
for over 15 years.
