Tai Chi - Yang Style (24 Form)
with Toshi Hariki
Yang style Tai Chi is the most popular form worldwide. Toshi’s classes
will focus on the first 24 forms of Yang Style Tai Chi, which was devised
by the Chinese Sports Commission in 1956 to standardise and popularise
Tai Chi. Although Tai Chi originates as a martial art, it has many health-giving
benefits including relaxation and can be used as a focus for spiritual
practice.
Toshi has a background in dance, sports and massage. He has taught Tai
Chi for ten years in Japan and five years in Brighton, also practicing
for four years as a chiropractor in Japan. He was the 2002 West Japan
Tai Chi Champion.
