Integrative Arts Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy can offer a private place to explore personal problems and the stresses of modern living.
It can be effective in
Reducing stress and anxiety
Easing depression
Overcoming traumatic events
Family and childhood issues
Intimate relationships
Sexual and gender issues
Professional and career concerns
Pregnancy and parenting
Who is it for?
You don’t have to be in a crisis to benefit from psychotherapy. It can also be a powerful tool for personal growth, and is increasingly used by those of us who want to understand our own behaviours and emotional reactions better. Tackling problems with a trained professional can enable us to function better as human beings, be more resilient, more open, and better able to form meaningful relationships.
Integrative Arts Psychotherapy
In addition to traditional verbal psychotherapy, Catherine is trained in the therapeutic application of the arts and the imagination, enabling clients to communicate their feelings even when words are hard to find. Because the emphasis is on expressing and exploring, there is no need to be at all artistically talented to find the arts helpful. There is no obligation to use any of the art materials.
Individual sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week. The work can be brief or longer term, depending on the issues you want to address.
Cost £40 per session (some concessions available)
Probably the best way of finding out if this way of working suits you is to book an initial consultation.
