Counselling, Gestalt Therapy Gestalt (German for whole or meaningful shape) suggests a needed completion of something that is incomplete. The theory of Gestalt Therapy is based on a holistic view of you, a human being, relating to your environment. When your natural flow is interrupted, through fear, anger or some other means, it leads to an incomplete whole (Gestalt). The emphasis in Gestalt Therapy is on helping you to become aware of your perceptions, feelings, thoughts and behaviours in the moment. Counselling offers a safe and confidential setting and support in many areas including relationship difficulties, bereavement, addictions, depression, self-harm, anxiety etc. Sessions can help you to understand your emotions and feelings and provide a room for personal development and growth. Eva K. Weber Eva gained her diploma in counselling at the Gestalt Centre [London], and practises in Brighton and London. Eva is a Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and bound by its Codes of Ethics and Practice. Originally from a business background Eva has been involved in counselling/psychotherapy since 2001. Initial meeting: £25.00 / 50 min. Eva offers short and long-term therapy on a one-to-one
basis; sessions available in English and German. |
