Inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, these Hatha Yoga classes give you time in each posture to cultivate an inner awareness and undo the tensions of your body
Classes include breathing/pranayama techniques
Suitable for complete beginners and for those with some experience.
What does this course cover?
This course offers an invigorating and rejuvenating experience in the style of Scaravelli yoga. Central to Vanda Scaravelli is the mindful interplay of the spine, the breath and the ground beneath us, encouraging an understanding of gravity, fluidity and ease.
Jane's courses present the opportunity to 'build' over the weeks, whereas drop-in classes stand alone with varying themes during each session. Using the Scaravelli principles of finding ease within each posture, these classes are particularly suitable for people who experience restrictions within their bodies, or think they can’t do yoga.
Who is the tutor?
Jane encourages students to discover a greater body awareness, flexibility and core strength within this wonderful practice. Jane has a background in martial ares and has been teaching dance, yoga and bodywork for many years.
