Sculpture with Found Objects

Be inspired by recycling!
Make a piece of figurative sculpture from recycled objects. Learn to express an idea creatively using an exciting range of materials. This workshop covers basic wire and polystyrene construction, and the creation of a sculpture using glues, wire, pins, and string. You can either transform found objects, disguising their previous use, or integrate many objects into a new form. Bring along any found objects that you have. All other materials will be provided. No experience necessary.
About the tutor
As well as being a practicing artist and painter Anna has wide experience working as an artist on community projects and with charities promoting cultural diversity. She has worked with Create in London and Arts Connections (in North Wales) and London’s inspirational Kids Company. She has taught art and design within the prison service, and recently worked with Mind Vale helping people with mental health problems. Anna has a degree in Fine Art Sculpture from Brighton University and has exhibited her work widely. She is passionate about providing support and guidance to people on their creative path.
