Create a unique totem-puppet personality
Do you have a dream self who you wish to bring into the world, an archetype you wish to connect with, a sub-personality, or a demon character who needs to be made more conscious? Using a range of materials, including found objects, you will spend most of the weekend creating your own totem-puppet figure but also explore the telling of its story. Open to everyone, whatever your experience of making things or being artistic. If you wish to, you can bring significant or meaningful objects to include in making your figure.
Bring found objects/materials that inspire you to be included in your work. £3 for all other materials will be payable to the tutor.
About the tutor
Mandarava is an artist and professional puppet and prop maker, who also leads Buddhist retreats which focus on combining creativity with the mythic and symbolic dimension of our lives.
