Meditation Day

Tutor: Ratnadakini

Learn some basic principals of meditation

You will explore various ways to practise mindfulness, bringing a kind, curious attention to your experience, moment by moment. Other aspects of teaching will be to help establish calm and concentration ; stepping back from thoughts that hijack you ; allowing, accepting and being with emotions. You will learn how to sit comfortably and also how to practise walking meditation. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience and will consist of instruction, short periods of meditation, and discussion.
