From script to screen
Learn the basic skills needed to produce professional-quality short films from script to screen. This workshop will discuss the fundamental skills involved in various aspects of film production including basic principles of script writing, image composition, working with the camera and editing techniques. This course is aimed at low to no budget productions and is perfect for people with little or no experience. Group and practical work is stressed throughout the weekend and a short film will be created. All equipment needed is provided but students are encouraged to bring any equipment they would like to use.
About the tutor
Martin is a local film-maker and has had commissioned work in the UK, France, and Spain. An experienced tutor, he has worked with adults and young people to create short, lowbudget films, and has worked on a series of award-winning short-film productions.
