How to Book

Online booking will (finally!) be available from 16 August 2010, in time for our Autumn/Winter programme.

You can book using your credit or debit card by phone (01273 204204). Credit cards incur a £1 fee per course (debit cards are free). Alternatively you can call by in person with cash, cheque or card. Office hours are 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that full payment must be made to secure a place on a course.

Busy Bee

Book any three courses or workshops (for one person) at the same time and pay only the concession price.

Concessions

Evolution Arts tries to keep its prices as affordable as possible. Concessions on booking fees are available to:

  1. Full-time students

  2. Unemployed

  3. OAPs

We are no longer able to accept bookings at the concessionary rate without proof of eligibility. You should book in person at the Evolution office with proof of eligibility or by post with a photocopy of the relevant document.

We will only need to see evidence once for OAPs to cover all future bookings. However for students and full-time unemployed you will need to submit updated evidence once every 6 months in order to continuing booking courses at the concessionary rate.

For full-time parents or carers not in receipt of unemployment benefit, you should put in writing details of your current circumstances to info@evolutionarts.org.uk, requesting a concession funded by the Evolution Access Fund (see below for details of the fund).

Pregnant Women

Not all of our yoga and dance classes are suitable for pregnant women, especially if you are in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy. If you are pregnant please let us know before booking.

Bookings for Young People

Unfortunately we are only able to accept bookings for ‘Under-18’s’ on our courses and workshops if a parent or guardian is present at all times.

Bank Holidays

If your course is on a Monday, it should be assumed that it will take place on a bank holiday unless otherwise specified by the tutor at the start of the term.

Half Term

Evolution does not have an official half-term break. Some courses may have a mid-term break, however. This is usually arranged with the course participants at the first session.

Evolution Access Fund

Evolution Arts is committed to making courses and workshops more accessible to the whole community. A new Evolution Access Fund has been created.

The fund is limited but we may be able to offer up to 75% discount on courses and workshops for people with financial hardship. You can put your case in writing to the General Manager no later than 2 weeks before the start of the course with evidence of your unemployment, details of your current situation, your reasons for wanting to attend and how much you feel able to contribute financially. You will usually be notified 24 hours before the start of the course whether your application has been successful. Unfortunately we won’t be able to help in every situation.
