Family Constellations

Ancestors play an active role in the daily lives of some cultures, but in Western culture many of us have no connection to those who have gone before us. The actions of our ancestors and past events have a significant effect on our lives in the present. This two-day workshop give individuals an opportunity to bring in an issue connected with their family and ‘set it up’ to see what happens. Through others in the group representing family members, we can uncover some of the dynamics operating in our families which keep the love from flowing and leave us ‘out of sorts’, or with other problems such as addictions.
Over a weekend, Barbara aims to do six personal constellations and John two (see NOTE for how to book a personal constellation). However, being a representative in other people’s constellations can be just as rewarding as doing our own constellation and some people prefer to participate in this way. General participation spaces are a lower rate - now £65 and can be booked online or over the phone.

Participation with a personal constellation
To take part and receive a personal constellation with Barbara will cost £130. These six spaces can only be booked over the phone.
To take part and receive a personal constellation with John will cost £100. These two places can only be booked over the phone on 01273 204204.
Full payment will be required at time of booking and the above places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
About the tutors
Barbara (pictured) is a UKCP reg. Gestalt Psychotherapist and Family Constellations Trainer, Supervisor and Practitioner working in private practice. She is a member of the training team of Constellations Work Trainings based in Bristol. She is editor of the English-language Constellations Journal, The Knowing Field. John has been training in family constellations work with Barbara Morgan for the past three years, as part of her apprenticeship scheme. He has also completed a foundation training year with Constellations Work Trainings in Bristol. He has just completed a one-year training course in group facilitation and has been a qualified occupational therapist for 20 years, and a practising Buddhist for 20 years.
