Tutor: Korina Biggs
Location: Evolution Arts, 2 Sillwood Terrace, Brighton BN1 2LR
Next date: Saturday wokshop, 11 March 2017
Whatever kind of performer you are - actor, dancer, musician, your body is your instrument.
How fine tuned and expressive are you?
What the course will cover
This workshop will teach skills of embodied awareness and optimal coordination in movement in order for you to express yourself creatively and with less chance of injury.
Through individual and group explorations we will practice movement and the taking of weight with more ease, and the possibility of both springiness and fluidity.
We will look at devising movement from a basis of embodied presence and create the conditions so that you surprise yourself, going beyond your habits and encompassing greater creativity and expression.
The tutor is an Alexander Technique teacher so there is the opportunity of experiencing skilled hands-on if you so choose.
All levels of experience and ages are welcome.
