African Djembe Drumming

Enjoy the immediacy of playing powerful drumming patterns with others in a joyous celebration of sound. Anyone can do it! As well as learning some ancient traditional patterns, gain confidence with group improvisation. Drumming has a direct physiological effect on the mind, releasing endorphins and providing an outlet for the stresses of day-to-day life.

About the tutor
Joss (pictured far right) has been running djembe courses for many years and is known for his clear, encouraging teaching style, delivered with warmth, fun and spontaneity.
