What will this course cover?
This course will provide a practical and informative introduction to the Alexander Technique in an enjoyable way. Learn to move with more ease and with less effort, breathe more freely, and enjoy less strain or pain. The Alexander Technique promotes a calmer state of mind, a more conscious embodied state of awareness, and teaches the skills to help oneself.
It can be applied to daily life and at work, as well as maximising our pleasure and performance in sport, and the performing arts.
Who is the tutor?
Korina Biggs MA, MSTAT
Korina was a physical theatre performer with Frantic Assembly for many years and has since been working as an Alexander Technique teacher and somatic movement educator.
She has an MA in Dance and Somatic Well-being and teaches Alexander and somatic approaches to effective devising and performing both in private practice and in several performing arts colleges. She has recently started teaching at RADA.
